Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality individualized care in a timely manner./ Due to increased demands and inconvenience caused by no-shows, late shows and cancellations, we are enforcing our No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy as of October 1, 2024.

Cancellation of an appointment: In order to be respectful of our time and other pets, please be courteous and contact our office promptly if you are unable to show up for any appointment. This time will be reallocated to a pet who is in need of treatment.

If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment which will allow another patient to receive timely care.

Late Cancellations: A cancellation is considered to be late when the appointment is canceled without a 24-hour advance notice and will be subject to a $50 fee.

Appointment “No Show” Policy: A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the client’s chart as a “no-show”. This includes arriving 15 minutes after the start of your scheduled appointment.

If you arrive late to your appointment we will see if we are still able to see your pet that day. If we are not, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged the full price of the missed session. Be mindful that our appointments are scheduled right after one another and because of this we may not have time to give your pet the full exam and care it needs before the next appointment arrives.

The first time there is a “no-show” or late cancellation there will be no charge to the client. A second occurrence will result in being required to prepay for the office visit for any future appointments. This will be credited towards that appointment, otherwise it is non-refundable if you “no-show” for that appointment).
